DescriptionBeach with driftwood and snowdrift Patricia Beach Provincial Park 2021-03-27.jpg
English: In March, the snowdrifts from the winter have not completely melted. The willows growing in the sand are still dormant. The cattails in the lagoon in the distance are brown and dry. A large piece of driftwood - a tree trunk washed ashore many years ago - has been bleached to silver by the sun. The wind from the lake has scoured the fine sand grains away from the larger pebbles as it passed underneath the end of the driftwood along the beach.
