Summary

Description
English: Baying Wolf by Jean Mulligan. A 1.2-metre-high oak sculpture in Old Hunstanton, Norfolk. Installed at a spot in Old Hunstanton overlooking where, it is said, St. Edmund landed on the shore of East Anglia in 855. Legend has it that an enormous grey wolf guarded Edmund's severed head until his friends found it following his execution by the Vikings in 870.
