Description
English: The Banknote Processing System BPS 200 (from Giesecke+Devrient) in the background sorts Indian rupees for authenticity and fitness level. One operator feeds the banknotes, another one (in the forground) removes the processed banknotes from the four output stackers and puts packages of fit banknotes and unfit banknotes into separate trays. The picture was taken in New Delhi in 2004.
Deutsch: Das Banknotenbearbeitungssystem BPS 200 (von Giesecke+Devrient) prüft indische Rupie auf Echtheit und sortiert sie nach Umlauffähigkeit. Ein Bediener legt die Banknoten ein, ein anderer (im Vordergrund) entnimmt die bearbeiteten Banknoten aus den vier Ausgabestaplern und legt die Päckchen von umlauffähigen und nicht umlauffähigen Banknoten in getrennte Körbe. Das Bild wurde 2004 in Neu Delhi aufgenommen.
