Description Reverse of the Banco de México Series C issued MXN$5 commemorative coin series issued in 2008, 2009, and 2010. This series celebrates the bicentennial anniversary of Mexican Independence and the centennial anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. Coins are marked "BICENTENARIO DE LA INDEPEDENCIA" or "CENTENARIO DE LA REVOLUCIÓN" on the rim and feature a bust/portrait, equestrian portrait, or scene from the relevant war. This particular example depicts Heriberto Jara.
