Summary

Description
English: Bagging the sought-after Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Award last 2022, the Municipality of Bamban unveiled four (4) service utility vehicles as their SGLG Incentive Fund (SGLG IF) Project worth P5,000,000.00 on May 5, 2023 at Bamban Municipal Hall, Bamban, Tarlac.
The purchased 4x4 pick-up vehicles will soon be utilized for Bamban's strengthened disaster response, most especially to the far-flung areas of the locality where the indigenous peoples reside — further promoting inclusivity and continuous progress.

The momentous activity was graced by Honorable Mayor Alice L. Guo, DILG Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, DILG Tarlac Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, Cluster Leader Jeffrey S. Manalastas, MLGOO Riza M. Guilas, DILG Regional and Provincial Office personnel, LGU Officials, and Department Heads.

The SGLG is institutionalized to recognize exemplary performance of LGUs toward accountable, transparent, participative, and effective governance. As a reward, local government units are given the SGLG IF to deliver more services to the people toward significant improvements in their respective areas or responsibility.

Through the SGLG, the DILG is able to ensure that LGUs work hand-in-hand with the National Government toward dedicated public service that is always "Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahan."
