Summary

Description
English: The Ashton Frost engine at Mill Meece Pumping Station, showing the trip-gear on the high-pressure cylinder. The trip-gear is the mechanism in the foreground, upper centre. The blue steel clad casing behind it is the steam manifold which supplies steam to the Corliss inlet valves at each end.
