Accompanying biography in Vanity Fair read "He is very well-known in Paris, and even more so at Monte Carlo. He owns a beautiful yacht called Eros, upon which he 'does' many parties very well. He is enormously rich; and he is quite partial to the Board of Green Cloth. He is very fond of Art; and he is quite good natured".
