English: Arms of Sir Edmund Prideaux, 1st Baronet (died 1628), of Netherton in the parish of Farway, Devon, on his monument in St Michael and All Angels' parish church, Farway.

Quarterly of 9:

  • 1: Argent, a chevron sable in chief a label of three points gules (Prideaux, with inescutcheon of a baronet, Red Hand of Ulster);
  • 2: Argent, a fess between three pellets (de Adeston of Adeston in the parish of Holbeton, for Joan de Adeston (fl.1373), daughter and co-heiress of Gilbert de Adeston and wife of John Prideaux of Orcharton (Blazon per Pole, Sir William (d.1635), Collections Towards a Description of the County of Devon, Sir John-William de la Pole (ed.), London, 1791, p.467)
  • 3: de Adeston
  • 4: Argent, on a bend sable two pairs of keys (handles entwined and adorsed) or (Spencer of Spencer Combe, Crediton, Devon, per Pole, p.502)
