English: Portrait of Françoise Marie de Bourbon (1677-1749), wife of Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1674-1723).
"Françoise-Marie was the youngest legitimised daughter of Louis XIV of France and his mistress, Françoise-Athénaïs, Marquise de Montespan. Françoise-Marie married Philippe d'Orléans, whose miniature portrait is also in the Royal Collection (Royal Collection RCIN 420357 ), in 1692 in the chapel of the Palace of Versailles. It is thought that this miniature is by Jacques Antoine Arlaud (1668-1746) who also painted the miniature portrait of the Duchess’s husband (RCIN 420357) in 1699."
