English: This is a portrait of the artist Annelie Wallin in her art work “Sunflower Field in Huvudsta”. In the art project she planted a sunflower field on a common area together with the people that lived in a settlement close by.
The settlement is in a simultaneously hidden and central place, where a series of barracks are set up on a closed road between a steep cliff, a train track and a heavily trafficked trail. They are owned by a private company that rents them out to foreign students. Together with the students, Wallin created a sunflower field here as a way to let this exception take place in the common room, by literally lighting up the place and marking its existence.
