Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) | Amy Hebert |
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | for visual identification of the person in question, at the top of his/her biographical article |
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1) |
Amy Hebert has been in the Louisiana state prison system since her 2007 arrest (as a pretrial inmate she was taken to the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women instead of Lafourche Parish jails due to her condition), and she became a sentenced felon in 2009. It is highly unlikely the Louisiana prison system will allow a free photo of an inmate, who now has a life sentence without the possibility of parole. The Talbot family (Hebert's biological family) and the Hebert family (her former in-laws) are highly unlikely to donate a freely licensed photograph. Amy Hebert's final federal appeal was declined in 2019, and by 2019 her appearance would have changed significantly from the period in which she committed the crime. Therefore she should be treated in the same way as a deceased person. |
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | The resolution has been greatly reduced |
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2) |
No indication the Associated Press or any press agency took this photo, so it's unlikely that anybody wants money from use of the photo. |
Other information | The subject of the photograph has been deceased since: Imprisoned since 2007 (counts the same as being dead) The street address in this file (partially visible) is no longer valid as Hebert is now in prison, and the other two human occupants (Camille and Braxton) are dead. |
