English: Agnes Fountain Graham Haw writes: the name of this spring is Agnes Fountain (no St.) It is incorrectly shown on current OS Maps. The "Fountain" and the paths around it (6 of them) were created by the Acland family. They were very large landowners and owned most of the Vale of Porlock. They laid out many paths and other features in the area and named them after family members and friends.
