Description
English: View from the photographer's attic window, Agen, France, circa 1875. An early natural-color photograph by Louis Ducos du Hauron. Although he conceived, patented and published several color photography processes during the 1860s, du Hauron was unable to make much practical use of them until 1873-1874, when methods for adequately sensitizing photographic emulsions to green and red light were discovered.
