Français : Affiche relative à une conférence donnée par le Dr Paul Michaux, président de la Fédération gymnastique et sportive des patronages de France (FGSPF), le 16 avril 1902, à Bordeaux, la Bastide, dans le cadre du patronage Saint-Joseph.

Sous la présidence de Monseigneur Tourreau, vicaire général.

IIe Grande Fête sportive, donnée au cirque de la Grave.

Défilé général.

Programme annexe :

  • présentation du drapeau ;
  • mouvements d’ensemble à mains libres ;
  • travail aux appareils : barre fixe, barres parallèles, anneaux ;
  • boxe, bâton, lutte française à mains plates ;
  • travail des poids : lancement, arrachage, deux temps, dévissé, bras tendu, etc. ;
  • sauts en hauteur, en longueur, à la perche ;
  • pyramides.

English: Poster of 1902, relating to a lecture given by Dr. Paul Michaux, surgeon, employed by the “Hôpitaux de Paris”, France. Dr. Paul Michau was also the President of the “Commission des patronages”, as well as the “Fédération nationale des sociétés catholiques de gymnastique et de sports”. This event was produced under the auspices of patronage of St. Joseph, in Bordeaux, la Bastide, France, under the chairmanship of Archbishop Tourreau, vicar. This poster was printed by P. Bouyeron printing, located at 16 rue Margaux, Bordeaux, France.
