Other information | It seems to have been acquired directly from the artist in 1961 and first exhibited in that year, in Italy. It was included with an "incorrect illustration" in a 1958 Italian book and was published at the latest in an exhibition catalogue in Israel in 1966.
In any case, it would still have been copyrighted in its country of first publication in 1996 so we must assume it to be copyrighted in the US until at least 1958 + 95 = 2053 inclusive. |
