DescriptionATL 98 carvair G-ASHZ, British Air Ferries, Southend, UK, 14 Aug 1976 (9247917507).jpg
When BAF became part of the Keegan empire, the Carvairs were all given new “fun” names and another new livery. G-ASHZ became ‘Fat Annie’ and is here lumbering in over Eastwoodbury Lane on short finals to Southend on 14 Aug 1976. She was leased to SOACO in Nov 1976 and to the International Red Cross from Jul-Sep 1978 before sale to Falcon Airways, firstly allocated N83FA which was not taken up, but was allotted N89FA in May 1979. The Carvair subsequently passed through various hands and was still around, possibly in Texas, in Nov 2002.
