This is a photograph of old rails used to form fencing at Londonderry Farm, Bitton; the National Grid Reference is ST 665702. The rails are a light flat-bottom section, perhaps about 40 lbs/yard. They may have been recovered from the branch line to California Colliery, a branch from the Avon and Gloucestershire Railway. The branch, but not the main line, used this pattern of rail.
