Fair use for Royal Observer Corps
[edit]I, Endrick Shellycoat. feel this image is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it illustrates one of only two locomotives to have been named "Royal Observer Corps".
- written permission to reproduce the image on Wikipedia was received from the copyright holder.
- the image is only being used for educational and informational purposes.
- its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because it portrays an image associated with the principle subject of this article.
- the locomotive in the image has been renamed, and that which was previously named "Royal Observer Corps" scrapped, therefore no alternative method exists for obtaining an equivalent free image.Endrick Shellycoat 08:17, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
