English: Our Education Document of the Month for October is this set of photographs of Samuel Jules Celestine Edwards (1857?-1894) that were registered for copyright shortly after his death.
The son of liberated West Indian slaves, Edwards travelled from St Johns, Antiguia through America and Scotland before settling in London. He studied theology and medicine and published several books on Christianity and Anti-Racism.
