• Crest:

1. That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserve: On a wreath of the colors (Argent and Azure) the Lexington Minute Man Proper.
2. The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.

• Motto: DARE YOUR BEST.

• Shield:

1. Blue is a color traditionally associated with Infantry, the original branch of the organization.
2. The gold chief displays the shoulder sleeve insignia of the 87th Division.

Crest: The crest is that of the U.S. Army Reserve.

1. The coat of arms was originally approved for the 347th Infantry Regiment, Organized Reserves, on 1925-04-16.
2. It was redesignated for the 347th Regiment (Training) with symbolism revised on1993-04-08.
