Summary

Description
English: This is a westward view along 53rd Street from the w:Hampton House (Chicago) in w:Hyde Park, Chicago. It captures a w:diffraction spike during the golden hour in the days preceding the 2024 fall w:equinox with views of w:Hotel Del Prado, w:East Park Towers and w:5252 South Cornell as the sun sets over the w:Metra Electric District tracks. Flags can be seen atop the w:Hyde Park–Kenwood National Bank Building on the left, which is across the street from a mostly obscured w:Harper Court. (This is the first contribution using exposure w:bracketing and w:compositing by this editor). FYI, the 2024 Fall Equinox in Chicago fell on September 22 and both September 22 and 23 were days in which the sunrise and sunset on east-west streets occurred in the middle of the street (days known as Chicagohenge).
