It's now 6 months old and it's just hit the 4,000km mark, 4,038km, last time I checked. We're very happy with it, but there are a few things that we wish were different. The 4 speed Auto transmission. Alright, it's ok, BUT, it's not as smooth as it should be, a 6 speed trans will fix this, it sometimes holds onto 3rd gear too long and other times it's like it doesn't know what gear it should be in and it almost comes across like it's confused. This is when you need to put the foot down, so it gets a nice long stretch to work out what gear it wants to get into. I'm thinking this will only get better once the car is 'run in' and it'll become a smoother gear change. I've also noticed that if it's been driven a round for a while, the transmission does settle down. It's a great little car! I love the driving position, the feel of the car and it handles very well, plus it also has a lot of standard equipment that you wouldn't normally find on a base model car. Plus it looks fantastic!! Compare to some of the competition, like the Ford Ecosport, well, it's in a different class of its own! |
