Lot of 9 1939 Bowman "Play Ball" gum cards. The company was previously named Gum, Inc. These are from the first set the company produced. The players are from left: Top row- Alvin Jacob Powell, Lee Theo Grissom, Henry Pippen. Middle row-James Tobin, James Brooklyn De Shong, John Costa Rizza. Bottom row-Paul Derringer, Harry Danning, Paul Dean.
Both sides of the cards are shown in the original upload and there are no copyright marks on either side of any.
