The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) was formed from the International Committee of Women for Permanent Peace, at the Second International Congress of Women, in Zurich, in 1915. The organization's goals included a radical revisioning of society and an end to war. Though securing full political rights for women was seen as an integral part of its work, the WILPF's vision was broader. |
