Description 1889 Cardenas Team, "The Birth of Latin American Baseball" Pioneer Cuban Professional Cabinet Photo. Showing twelve men in uniform with each identified on the back as well. One player (number 1 on the far left) is identified on the back but covered up by the paper while the other 11 are as follows in order: Eduardo Elgarrest, Francisco Pettit, Juan J. Male, Oscar Mihoura, Enrique Duran, Benj. Horscheck, Francisco Beath, Ramon Vidal, Leopoldo Posada, Esteban Prats.
