Description
English: An image representing Ontario in 1869, from a book commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Eaton's department store (founded in 1869). The images are of the leaders of the country and province in 1869: the monarch (Queen Victoria), the Governor General of Canada (Sir John Young), the Prime Minister (Sir John A. Macdonald), the Premier of Ontario (John Sandfield Macdonald) and the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario (W.P. Howland).
