Harry Harris, Commander U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM), is greeted by Commandant of the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operations Training (BIPSOT), Maj. Gen. Enayet Ullah, after arriving by helicopter. This is Harris’ first visit to Bangladesh as PACOM commander. During the visit he met with counterparts and government officials for discussions on military cooperation and regional security initiatives in the Indo-Asia Pacific.
