Description: eMr. Min Younghwan (1861-1905, [Korean]), a righteous person who died for the cause of justice. He killed himself after a series of desperate protests at 6 AM, Nov. 30, 1905 upon the disgraceful signing of the 'Protectorate Treaty' on Nov. 18, 1905.e Source: Sajin uiro ponun tongnip undong (Independence Movement Through Pictures), 1996, v. 1, p. 56.

Inscription/Marks: Inscribed in pencil (in unknown hand) on verso: 'Japanese official also in picture of Roosevelt party at East Palace--5th from left in front row'
