English: The Dez River (Persian: دز), the ancient Coprates (Greek: Κοπράτης or Κοπράτας), is a tributary of the Karun River and is 400 km long. It is the site of the Dez Dam.

Deutsch: Der Dez ist ein 400 km langer Fluss im Südiran. Der Fluss entspringt 20 km nordöstlich von Borudscherd im Zāgros-Gebirge. Städte am Fluss sind Dezful und Chorramabad. Benannt ist der Fluss nach der Stadt Dezful.
