Донецкий областной художественный музей
Object history Первоначально картина называлась «20-е число» (день получения жалованья). В историю искусства вошла с названием «Первое число». Донецкий эскиз приобретён в 1968 году у Н. С. Иванова (Ленинград). Вариант-повторение находится в Государственной Третьяковской галерее. По-видимому, существовал ещё один вариант, изображённый в картине Н. Т. Богацкого «Мастерская художника» (1862 год). Удостоена Малой серебряной медалью Императорской Академии художеств.
