English: "Time Team" excavation site, Dungannon A programme was broadcast in October, 2007 on Channel 4 from here. The actual site was located in the secured compound, which has been occupied by the army for a good few years and was where their helicopters used to land. In the foreground there are remains of ruins of castle, but would not have been more than a couple of hundred years old, an it was not thought to have any significance, just what was uncovered in the compound was of historic importance. http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/T/timeteam/2008/dungannon/index.html
