Fairbanks Street station is a light rail stop on the MBTA Green Line C branch in Brookline, Massachusetts, located in the median of Beacon Street. Fairbanks station has two side platforms serving the line's two tracks. It is not accessible, although a wheelchair lift allows accessible transfer between the two elevations of the two halves of Beacon Street at the station. The MBTA plans to consolidate Fairbanks Street and the nearby Brandon Hall station into a single accessible combined station by the end of 2026.

Track work in 2018–19, which included replacement of platform edges at several stops, triggered requirements for accessibility modifications at those stops.[2] Design work for Fairbanks Street and seven other C Branch stations was 15% complete by December 2022.[3] Designs shown in February 2024 called for Fairbanks Street and Brandon Hall stations to be consolidated into a single station between their present locations. Accessible ramps to the north side of Beacon Street would be built at Lancaster Terrace and Mason Path.[4] In May 2024, the Federal Transit Administration awarded the MBTA $67 million to construct accessible platforms at 14 B and C branch stops including the combined station.[5] As of June 2024, construction is expected to be complete in fall 2026.[6]
