"Everybody Loves Me" is a song by American rock band OneRepublic. The song serves as the first promotional single and fourth track from the band's second studio album Waking Up. The song was written and produced by band members Ryan Tedder and Brent Kutzle with additional production from Andy Prickett. The song was recorded at MasterMax Studios in Johannesburg and Metropolis Studios in London.[1] A snippet of the song was released on the band's MySpace page on October 20, 2009.

Background and composition[edit]

The song is an unrestrained rock and roll song with lyrics that mock a selfish and boisterous celebrity lifestyle and ego. This is shown in the chorus and bridge of the song that impersonate this egotistical celebrity.
