Escape the Fate

Escape The Fate is an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their first full-length album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, was released on September 26, 2006, and their second full-length album, This War Is Ours, was released on October 21, 2008.

History

Beginning and Dying is Your Latest Fashion (2005-2006)

On May 23, 2006, Escape The Fate released a 5 track EP called 'There's No Sympathy for the Dead.' The EP included two songs that were included later on their full length album, Dying is Your Latest Fashion, and was a successful eye-opener for record companies and fans alike. After the release keyboardist Carson Allen left the band to join On The Last Day.

On September 26, 2006 Escape The Fate released their first full length album, Dying is Your Latest Fashion. This is the band's only full length album with Ronnie Radke as the lead vocalist.

Departure of Radke and Espinosa(2006-2008)

Rifts with Ronnie Radke started with his multiple run-ins with the law and arrests involving narcotics. As stated by Max Green, "First we couldn't tour out of the country, then out of the state." The final act that made the rest of the band realize they needed a new singer was Radke's implications with the murder of Michael Cook. Radke was present at the fight that led to Cook's death and was incarcerated with a chance of parole in 2010. Radke was subsequently removed from the band.

During the Black on Black tour, Omar Espinosa left the band. He is now a member of the Las Vegas band, Perfect Like Me.

Craig Mabbitt and This War is Ours(2008-2009)

After the departure of Radke, the band stated that former Blessthefall vocalist Craig Mabbitt would join them for the next few shows. Later, they stated that Mabbitt would remain as the permanent vocalist and shortly after released the song "The Flood", which would be the 5th track on their sophomore effort, This War Is Ours.

This War is Ours was released on October 21, 2008 which included the singles "The Flood" and "Something". It was the first Escape the Fate album featuring Craig Mabbitt as vocalist.

Since Craig Mabbitt has been in the band, Escape the Fate has officially finished a complete tour.

Plans for the future

Escape the Fate is currently on the "This War is Ours" tour. Mabbitt has leaked information that ETF is indeed writing more music, and that they already have 5 new songs in the works. Mabbitt also stated for their fans that he has incorporated more screaming for anyone who enjoys his screaming. They will be featured on the '09 Vans Warped Tour.
