Hi! I've seen your comments on this and other articles about references fixing, I've just been out for a few days. I'll work on them. Thanks.Kseni-kam (talk) 15:08, 12 July 2024 (UTC)"[reply]

@Kseni-kam: No problem, I'll try to review the articles promptly once they're ready. Your articles are so much better than what we usually get at AfC, it's fun reviewing them :) --Cerebellum (talk) 15:09, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Could you help me please with the shortened footnotes? I feel a bit lost: seen the article you recommended on the topic, but just can't get what does it has to do with these references errors, what's wrong between the citation format and the reference in bibliography list itself, etc. And also sometimes they work and other times they don't (like, for example, in this very article ref.44 and 108 work, and a lot of others don't even though their format is the same). I'd really appreciate, if you could help me with a concrete example of fixing to go futher with it and not to click here and there in vain as I am doing now :'( Kseni-kam (talk) 22:00, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Kseni-kam: Of course, we have to make sure the text in the shortened footnote exactly matches the "last=" parameter in the bibliography.

So for example you have: {{Harvard citation text|Дурылин С. Н.|1930|p=26}}

And then in the bibliography: |last=Дурылин

To fix this one we can get rid of the initials: {{Harvard citation text|Дурылин|1930|p=26}}

And then it will work. Please note that these shortened footnotes are not at all required, if they are too annoying you just format the reference as plain text: Дурылин (1930, p. 26). Does that make more sense? --Cerebellum (talk) 01:01, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Such a little detail and everything changes...Thank you so much!! I think it's ready now to be reviewed. Let me know, please, if you see any other mistakes that I repeat with a format o anything else, so not to repeat it again in new translations. Kseni-kam (talk) 19:04, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fantastic!! Thank you for hard work on these translations :) --Cerebellum (talk) 20:55, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
