TAG Financial Institutions Group (TAG) is a New York City-based investment banking and advisory firm specializing in financial services for the insurance and fintech sectors, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.[1][2]
History
[edit]TAG was founded in 2012 by Steven H. Nigro and Kieran D. Pinney, initially focusing on mergers and acquisitions and strategic consulting, primarily serving clients in North America.[3] Over time, the firm expanded its services to include investment banking, particularly for clients in the middle-market financial services sector.[4][5]
In 2020, TAG Financial Institutions Group sponsored the New Paradigm Conference.[6] In 2022, TAG established a subsidiary, TAG Capital Solutions Group, aimed at addressing the capital needs and corporate finance objectives of various companies and entities.[7]
