Rohun Kawale (born 2 June 2000) is a Canadian professional footballer who plays as a Midfielder for Liga Portugal 2 club Länk Vilaverdense.

College career
[edit]A youth product of IMG Academy. In 2019, he committed to the mens soccer team at the University of Rhode Island[1]. On August 30, 2019, he made his collegiate debut in a match against Fairfield University.[2] He scored his first collegiate career goal - the game winner - in Rhode Island's victory at Saint Joseph's. [3] He also registered his first Assist in URI's 1-0 win at Brown, giving the Rhode Island Rams their first win over the bears in 15 years.[4] In his Freshman Season he appeared in 19 games for the University of Rhode Island in which the Rams went on to win the Atlantic 10 Regular Season and Tournament.[5]
Professional career
[edit]Kawale began his senior career with CDC Montalegre in Liga 3 Portugal.[6] On January 28, 2022, he made his debut with Montalegre in a match against AD Sanjoanense.[7] After a season and a half with CDC Montalegre, He signed for Länk Vilaverdense in Liga Portugal 2 on July 29, 2023.[8] He made his professional debut with Länk in a 2–1 Segunda Liga win over CD Feirense on 14 January 2024.[9]
