The Opportunity Party of Albania (Albanian: Partia Mundësia e Shqipërisë, PM or PMSH) is a centre-right political party in Albania. Its leader is Agron Shehaj.[1]

Formation

[edit]

Albanian Politician Agron Shehaj, formerly associated with the Democratic Party faction led by Sali Berisha's Reestablishment group, had left the Democrats and went on announced the establishment of a new political entity in Albania named "Mundesia."[2]

The inauguration of Mundesia took place at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, where Shehaj articulated the party's vision of rejuvenating hope among Albanians and positioning itself as a European-style political force actively engaged in grassroots activities.[3]

In his address, Shehaj underscored Mundesia's commitment to providing a fresh start for all citizens. He further emphasized that this nascent political movement represents a departure from the political landscape of the past three decades in Albania, offering a distinct alternative to traditional paradigms.[4]
