Ooolab, stylized as OOOLAB (One On One English Company Limited), is a Vietnamese educational technology company that develops and provides enterprise learning management systems (LMS). Founded in 2018 by Cedric Le Quellec and Edgar Camago Jr., the company is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with operations in Singapore.[1][2] OOOLAB's primary product is LearningOS, an all-in-one hybrid learning platform designed for corporate training and educational enterprises.[3]

History

Ooolab was initially established as One On One English in 2018, focusing on delivering English classes to Vietnamese children. After identifying limitations in existing LMS solutions, the founders Cedric Le Quellec and Edgar Camago Jr. decided to develop their own platform, LearningOS, to better serve the needs of educational enterprises.[1][2] By 2021, Ooolab had delivered over 100,000 English classes using custom-built curriculums and professional tutors.[2] In 2023, Ooolab participated in Google's Southeast Asia Startups Accelerator Program.[4] The company has also been recognized by the Global Forum for Education and Learning (GFEL) and is certified by Education Alliance Finland.[1][5]

LearningOS

LearningOS is Ooolab's flagship product, an enterprise LMS platform that combines content management, learning management, and content authoring tools.[3] Key features include: Hybrid and blended learning capabilities Interactive content creation tools, including H5P integration Scheduling and booking functionalities Analytics and reporting features Support for major file types including SCORM and xAPI The platform is designed to cater to both remote and in-person learning models, emphasizing flexibility and user experience.[1][3]

Partnerships and clients

In 2024, Ooolab aounced a significant partnership with FPT Software, a global IT services provider. This collaboration aims to enhance FPT Software's sales force capabilities across eight countries, including Germany, Singapore, Canada, and Japan.[6] Ooolab also partnered with LogiBrothers, an edTech company, to expand into new markets in Vietnam, Kenya, and the US.[7] As of 2024, Ooolab's platform serves over 120,000 paying users across 21 countries and has facilitated more than 700,000 interactive learning sessions.[5][1]

Leadership

Cedric Le Quellec serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Ooolab. He has a background in education and technology, having previously worked at Wall Street English and as a Venture Capital Analyst at Deep Knowledge Group. Le Quellec holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University.[10] Edgar Camago Jr. is the Co-Founder and COO of Ooolab. Together with Le Quellec, he founded the company based on their shared experiences in the education sector.[1]
