Micah Beckwith is an American pastor and politician.
Beckwith is from Hillsdale, Michigan, and graduated from Huntington University.[1] He is a pastor at Life Church in Noblesville, Indiana, and he calls himself a "Christian nationalist".[2]
Beckwith ran for Indiana's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives in the 2020 elections.[3] He finished in third place with 13.1% of the vote, behind Victoria Spartz.[4] The county council of Hamilton County, Indiana, appointed Beckwith to the board of the East Hamilton Public Library in September 2022. He led a policy to move books from the teen section to the adult section, which was reversed by the state. Beckwith resigned in January 2024.[2]
In 2023, Beckwith announced his candidacy for lieutenant governor of Indiana in the 2024 election.[5] Beckwith faced Julie McGuire for the nomination, and won with 891 votes against McGuire's 828.[6]
