Kyle Gordon (born October 9, 1992) is an American comedian,[2] singer and YouTuber.[3]

Career

Kyle Gordon makes YouTube Shorts and TikToks criticizing, using satire, the societies of the past, portraying different characters.[3] He also does this in his songs.

He goes by the name Kylegordonisgreat on YouTube and has over one million subscribers and over 660 million views.[4] He also has 3.4 million followers and 152.2 million likes on TikTok,[5] both as of April 15 2024.

Kyle Gordon has made many songs, where he portrays different characters,[3] usually to satirically criticize people from the past or groups of people.

His first and most popular song, Planet of the Bass,[6][7][8][9] was released on August 15, 2023[10] and is a parody of 1990s European dance music.[11] Brooks Allison, a sketch writer for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Jamie Siegel served as producers.[9][12]

Personal life

Gordon grew up in Brooklyn in a Conservative Jewish family.[24] He is a graduate of Denison University, where he majored in East Asian studies.[25]
