Kambala Srinivas Rao is an Indian politician and social activist. He is the president of Vishwa Hindu Dharma Parirakshana, an organization dedicated to cultural and religious preservation. In December 2024, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), furthering the party’s reach in the East Godavari district.[1][2]
Biography
[edit]Kambala Srinivas Rao was born in Gokavaram, Andhra Pradesh, into a Telugu-speaking family. He is married to Ganga Ratnam, and they have two daughters, Spandana and Simha Priyanka.
Rao has been active in community development and philanthropic efforts, particularly focusing on temple infrastructure and cultural preservation projects. His work has been recognized within his community for its positive impact.[3]
In December 2024, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to align his activism with a national platform. His entry was seen as a strategic move to strengthen BJP’s influence in East Godavari.[4]
