Julian Horton is an American actor and former football player.
Life and career
[edit]Horton was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Greater Atlanta Christian School in Nocross, Georgia where he was a letterman in football and basketball. Horton attended and played football at the University of Arkansas where he played for four years before going to the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent[1]. Horton transitioned to acting in 2018, making his film debut in Amazon Prime's The House Invictus.[1] Horton made his television debut in 2019 on CW's Legacies. He later appeared in the true crime series' Homicide Hunter and Fatal Attraction. In 2021, Horton made his theater debut with National Champions, starring alongside JK Simmons and Stephan James. In 2022, Horton appeared alongside Neal McDonough and J Alphonse Nicholson in Black Spartans.[1] In 2024, Tyler Perry cast Horton as a series regular in his Netflix drama series, Beauty in Black.[2]
