Jovaughn Dakar Gwyn (born March 18, 1999) is an American professional football guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina.[1][2][3]

College career

Gwyn was ranked as a four-star recruit by 247Sports.com coming out of Harding University High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.[4][5]

He committed to South Carolina on December 20, 2017, over offers from NC State, Duke, and Appalachian State.[6] He started 46 of 48 games at South Carolina.[7]

Gwyn was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round, 225th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft.[10][11]

On November 28, 2024, Gwyn was waived by the Falcons, and re-signed to the practice squad.[12]
