The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HOABL) is an Indian land development company based in Mumbai.[1] It was founded by Abhinandan Lodha and operates as a part of Lodha Ventures. The company focuses on plotted land developments and has projects in Maharashtra, Goa, and Uttar Pradesh.[1]
History
[edit]The House of Abhinandan Lodha was founded in 2021 by Abhinandan Lodha,[2][3] who previously served as the Deputy Managing Director at Lodha Group,[4][5] a real estate company also based in Mumbai.[6] The company operates as a subsidiary of Lodha Ventures,[7] which was founded by Abhinandan Lodha in 2015.[8] HOABL focuses on land development projects in various locations, including Alibaug, Anjarle, Dapoli, and Neral in Maharashtra, as well as Ayodhya and Goa.[9]
The company's first project was launched in April 2021 in Konkan, Maharashtra. In 2022, it acquired land in Ayodhya.[10] At the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit in February 2023, the company announced plans to invest approximately ₹1,800 crore in over 600 acres of land across Uttar Pradesh.[11] By 2023, The House of Abhinandan Lodha had acquired over 500 acres of land and planned to develop additional land across India, including 25 acres in Ayodhya. The company also announced plans for a mixed-use development in Ayodhya.[12]
Partnership
[edit]In June 2023, HOABL partnered with Indigo Hospitality for a restaurant project in Alibaug.[13] Later that year, it formed a joint venture with HDFC Capital Advisors, investing ₹1,500 crore in plotted and low-rise developments across India.[14] In January 2024, HOABL announced a ₹2,000 crore investment in hotels for its existing and upcoming projects, including locations like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Vrindavan, Shimla, and Amritsar.[15] Additionally, it partnered with The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts to develop a hotel in Ayodhya.[16]
