- Comment: Hey - I can explain in a little more detail why I think this still falls short of the standard, but don't want to overwhelm with random links to WP:VG/S, WP:RS and WP:N. The rub of it is that if we were to pick the three best sources the article is still not solid in terms of the yardsticks we use for notability: * PC Gamer is a reliable source per WP:VG/S but provides no independently held views about the game. It's an update that seems to be relaying information from the development team.* PC Invasion does provide significant coverage and review comments about the game but nobody has quite agreed on its notability, with an [earlier view that it is not a reliable source]. * Stopgame is a review but it's pretty obvious it's a user-generated source and not reliable. It's someone random writing on a review blogging platform. This just seems to be something that reliable outlets haven't really reviewed yet. Games with significant coverage without reviews - such as early access games - could be notable but there would need to be significant coverage from reliable secondary sources about it, which there doesn't seem to be from the article. - Comment: Not seeing the article pass GNG. Furthermore please read WP:USERG and remove any sources which may violate this. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 14:19, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Unfortunately lacks notability under WP:GNG due to having no review sources and little significant coverage from reliable sources. The PC Gamer article seems to be the only independently reliable recognised source under WP:VG/S. I'd recommend seeing if there's any reviews of this game and creating a review section as per WP:VG/MOS and go from there. Happy to chat if you need any help or questions. Gunner, HEAT, PC! or GHPC is a video game under development by Radian Simulations LLC, it is self described as a simulation game about modern mounted combat, with special attention to authenticity and fun.[3]
Development
[edit]Development began back in 2017 with Unity as the development tool being used, in 2019-2020 the game became a project with multiple developers and started gaining team members[4]. GHPC released on early access on Steam on 6 Sep, 2022. GHPC is currently still in development and receiving regular updates.[5][6][7][8][9]. The game was mainly inspired by Armored Fist 3.[10]
Gameplay
[edit]The game is set in the Fulda Gap during 1985, focusing on a scenario of war breaking out between the Warsaw Pact and NATO forces. The game is mainly focused on tank combat, with other ground vehicles and assets like infantry fighting vehicles, ATGMs, armoured personnel carriers and military automobiles also being playable, infantry, artillery, military helicopters and fighter aircraft appear in the game as fire support call-ins or AI controlled assets.[11] GHPC currently contains the United States Army, Group of Soviet Forces in Germany and National People's Army as playable factions, with the Bundeswehr being planned to be added in the future. The game aims to be a highly realistic tank combat game without sacrificing playability or accessibility.[12]
Reception
[edit]The game has received generally positive reception for it's accuracy, atmosphere and blending of simulation and casual elements.[13][14][15][16][17][18]
