Guillamon Island is an uninhabited island south of Scalpay, in the council area of Highland, Scotland.[1] It is 8 acres (3 hectares) in area[3] and 400 yards (350 metres) long in a north-to-south direction.[4] It is entirely greenstone.[5] The name origin is obscure.[6] Guillemon was recorded as being part of the Trap Islands.[7] It was bought for £11,000.[when?][3]
