Fadimatou Aretouyap Kome (born 22 July 2002) is an Cameroonian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Turkish Women's Football Super League club Beşiktaş J.K. and the Cameroon women's national team.[2][3][4]

Kome was born in Foumbot, Cameroon on 22 July 2002.[5]

Club career

Kome began her career with the Soyaux, France. She joined Soyaux in the Première Ligue, where she made her debut during the 2021-2022 season.[6] During her first season, she played 3 matches. The following season, she got more playing time and made 19 appearances including 9 starts. During this season, she scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist. In September 2023, she signed a contract with Montauban in Seconde Ligue.[7][8][9][10]

In 2024, she moved to Beşiktaş J.K, playing her first match for Beşiktaş on 3 November 2024, in a 2-0 win against Bornova Hitab Spor.[11]

International career

Kome is part of the Cameroon women's national football team.[12][13] She made her mark at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2018 as played with Cameroon for the qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in 2022.[14][15] Kome participated in the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations,[16][17][18] as well as the qualifiers for the women's football tournament at the Olympic Games in 2023.[19]
