Ethan Holliday (born February 23, 2007) is an American baseball infielder. He attends Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and is considered to be among the best prospects available in the 2025 Major League Baseball draft.
Career
[edit]Holliday attends Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma. In 2022, he was a member of the United States national baseball team that won the U-15 Baseball World Cup and was named the tournament's top shortstop.[1] Holliday participated in the high school home run derby held as part of the Major League Baseball (MLB) all-star game.[2]
Holliday has committed to attend Oklahoma State University–Stillwater to play college baseball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who are coached by his uncle, Josh Holliday.[3] Considered to be among the best high school prospects available in the 2025 MLB draft, Holliday has been rated the No. 1 prospect available in the draft by MLB.com, Baseball America, and Perfect Game.[4][5][6]
Personal life
[edit]Holliday is the son of Matt Holliday and the younger brother of Jackson Holliday.[7][8] His cousin, Brady Holliday, also plays baseball for Stillwater.[9]
