Anurag is a an academician [born on June 30, 1986, in Sikar (Rajasthan)] and currently Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad.[1]

Education and early life

He completed his primary education from Sikar and got higher education MSc/MPhil degrees from University of Rajasthan.[2] Ph.D. from IISER Pune and the research topic "Atomistic Investigation of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Nanostructure and Dynamics of Molecular Transport in Fuel Cells".[3][4]

Career

Dr. Anurag was a researcher at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore in the Year 2014 to 2015 and worked in CPMU with Prof. Balasubramnaian Sundaram.[5] He received DST INSPIRE Faculty Award in 'Materials Sciences' by Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi and Joined at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar. He served as INSPIRE Faculty at Central University of Haryana (2015-17)[6] and Central University of Rajasthan (2017-19). Later, he joined as Associate Professor in SBSR of Sharda University.[7]

Research

He has contributed in the field of Membrane science and Technology for Fuel Cell applications using Molecular Dynamics tools by exploring Polymer Electrolytes, Battery Electrolytes, and Ionic Liquids. https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9186-1970 He is life time member of Life Time Member of Asian Polymer Association [L 623][8] and Life Time Member of Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) [LM 1847][9]

  • R&D grant of Rs 30 Lakhs from Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology under Department of Science and Technology, Haryana for the Project titled “Volatile Organic Compounds in Ambient Air: Source Apportionment and DFT/Quantum Analysis for NCR Region.”[12]
